Kiosk 59: The Coming of Age Edition
What's the 411?
Designed, edited, and published by students, Kiosk is a semi-annual, award-winning, art and literature magazine for the University of Kansas that has been in publication since 1989. The 59th issue of Kiosk is The Coming Of Age edition. No one knows how to grow up. As we age, we are thrust unwarned and unguided into the world. We stumble, lose our footing, fall down. Our moments are messy and awkward, wild and unforgettable. This edition of Kiosk confronts the unsophisticated, the undistinguished, the uncomfortable. It embraces the art that’s transforming: knock-kneed, feet-too-big, growing into itself.

What did I do?
Working with a team of talented designers, I helped concept the visual style for the 59th edition of Kiosk. I also designed the layout of multiple spreads throughout. I combined the contributor's photography, art, and writing entries into an expressive format.
